Circle on Flickr.
This is circle; I met him at our impromtu camp. He is a fire dancer and spent most of his time dancing through the night.
Flaming Octopus on Flickr.
Scorching flames from a steam punk octopus keeps the dancing Burners warm, shielding them from the cold winds blowing across the vividly colored playa night. To the right, a dance party marches on through the night, and behind a flaming tree for those weary travelers looking for conversation or a night’s rest.

The Man Burn
Cat and the Man on Flickr.
With the raging inferno that was the Man burning in the distance, Shannon glances back at the warmly-lit jovial crowd and bathes in the energy of the night.
Masked Man on Flickr.
With a loud roar of distant trance music, the laugher of Burners in the air, and the jovial daring of those around the fire pit, a masked man steps back as flames stretch skyward with a playful vigor.

Self-Portrait on 2-minute long timer with the Leica M6TTL.
Fuji 400H and I have never gotten along; always received grainy photos with a green / purple cast. This photo came out pleasantly nice.
Completely pitch black, I opened (but forgot to close) the trunk of the car in order to read the aperture markings and set the camera to bulb mode for this photograph.
I held my iPhone to illuminate my face during the exposure. Selective dodging applied in post to remove the ghost-like appearance from walking to and from the camera once the exposure began.
